Theft: A staff member reported at about noon Monday that his bicycle was stolen from a rack at the Shields Building, Penn State University police said. The bicycle is valued at $400.

Theft: A Pollock Halls Housing staff member reported at about 12:30 p.m. Monday that a leather couch was taken from Pollock Commons lobby. The theft took place sometime during the weekend, police said. The estimated value of the couch is $1,700.

Theft: A female student reported to police at about 6:30 p.m. Monday that her backpack was taken from the women's locker room at the White Building. The estimated value of the bag and its contents is $1,000.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
