Today's University Park forecast
Clouds will be on the increase today as a cold front
approaching from the west and the remnants of Hurricane
Ivan converge over the area. Periods of heavy rain will
fall this afternoon and tonight, with the potential for
localized flooding. Showers will be tapering off early
tomorrow giving way to mostly sunny skies by afternoon,
just in time for kickoff. Temperatures will be dipping
down to near 50 degrees tomorrow night as a high pressure
system filters cooler, dryer air down from Canada. Skies
should remain mostly clear with comfortable temperatures
for the end of the weekend and into the start of the work
week.
