The Penn State men's golf team will travel to Madison, Wisconsin to participate in the Northern Intercollegiate at University Ridge.
Thirteen teams will partake in the tournament, including four other members of the Big Ten. Joining Penn State will be Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan.
Rounding out the tournament field will be Marquette, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois and Butler from the Missouri Valley conference.
Last year at the Northern Intercollegiate, Penn State tied for fourth place, along with Akron and Miami (Ohio).
The tournament will be the first of the fall season for Penn State. Last year, the Lions finished second in the East Regional and finished 15th at the NCAA championships. The 15th place finish was the team's best ever at the NCAA championships.
