Letter to the Editor
Bush's flaws show Kerry right choice

I'm sorry, but I would have to disagree with the person who wrote the letter stating that Bush is the clear choice for president. I cannot understand how after four years of deception by the Bush administration somebody can stand up and actually defend what this president is doing to the United States. Exploiting 9/11 to get votes is not only immoral, its unethical, especially considering the fact that 9/11 could have been avoided if George W. Bush would have taken communications from the CIA seriously. Going into Iraq was wrong. It only has become painfully apparent recently that Saddam Hussein was better at running Iraq than George W. Bush is, or most likely will ever be. Instead of fighting "terrorism," this was a war about exploiting Iraq's petroleum. Giving the oil contract to Iraq to Halliburton made it obvious what the Bush administration's intentions were going there in the first place (Dick Cheney used to be the CEO of Halliburton). Sending 1,000 United States soldiers to their graves so a few good ole boys can have a larger bank account is an outrage. A Machieavellian president who ignores constitutional law, and exploits tragedy and soldiers for dollar signs is the last thing the United States needs.
