Today's University Park forecast
Relatively strong thunderstorms plagued parts of the Ohio
Valley and most of Pennsylvania yesterday as a low
pressure system eased eastward. This system will continue
to produce scattered thunderstorms early this morning and
will meander into the southern and eastern tier of the
state by afternoon. A few rumbles are likely tomorrow due
to warm, moist air mass still lingering in the area.
Unseasonably cool temperatures will develop as a result
of a potent cold front. Warmer, more pleasant weather is
in store for the weekend however, as high pressure ushers
the clouds out of the area.
