Hospital administrators and union members at Mount Nittany Medical Center are hoping for an approval today of a tentative contract agreement reached early Friday. After nearly 12 hours of negotiations Thursday between the Mount Nittany Medical Center and the Service Employees International Union 1199P (SEIU), the agreement was reached around 4 a. m.
A towering "beer-a-mid" was a pillar paying homage to the international brew available at the seventh annual State College Microbrewers and Importers Exposition Saturday. HERSHEY -- There were close to 30 of them -- decked out in maize, blue and the number 7 -- cheering wildly when Chad Henne entered the game on the third down of a fourth quarter drive during Saturday night's Big 33 Football Classic. HERSHEY -- Somewhere between accepting a poster a loyal Butler fan crafted for him and discussing his impending Penn State football career, Pennsylvania defensive end Tyrell Sales acknowledged a familiar face Saturday night in Hersheypark Stadium after playing in the Big 33 Football Classic. "Yo Poz," he yelled out to Penn State sophomore linebacker Paul Posluszny. "Hey man, good game," Posluszny said, slapping five with his future defensive partner.
