Local man charged with sexual assault

A 28-year-old Ferguson Township man has been charged with three counts of statutory sexual assault and other charges after allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl on several occasions.

Martin Graham, of 951 W. Aaron Drive, was arraigned Friday afternoon at the office of District Justice Bradley Lunsford.

Graham is being held in Centre County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

He also faces one count of corrupting minors and twenty counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, indecent exposure and endangering the welfare of children.

The victim, now 16, told police that all incidents between her and Graham occurred when she was 15-years-old.

A preliminary hearing for Graham is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Student trespasses in Beaver Hill apt.

A Penn State student was arraigned Saturday on charges of criminal trespass after he allegedly entered a Beaver Hill apartment Saturday morning and climbed into bed with a woman he did not know.

Christopher Major, of 225 W. Fairmount Ave., was arraigned at District Justice Carmine Prestia's office after being arrested at around 7 a.m.

Police said a female resident of the apartment awoke to find Major allegedly attempting to get into bed. Major refused to leave when the resident asked him to do so, police said. He left the apartment before police arrived.

Police later found Major on the 300 block of East Foster Avenue. He was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center because he was intoxicated, police said.
