Letter to the Editor
Recall past events to inspire new students

Words like activism and advocacy are being passed around more than ever in conversations at Penn State. This is exactly where we need to be. This is a university that houses tens of thousands of students with each coming year, and there should be a voice coming from the students. Remembering what happened here three years ago with the "No Hate At Penn State" rally is crucial. That event happened before I was even at Penn State.

These things have to be remembered so that the upcoming students may be inspired and appreciate the changes that have been implemented. There is still a lot of work to be done, but at least we are seeing a lot of history in the making.
