A New York man was arrested early Saturday morning after he allegedly took a knife into an apartment with the intention of killing an individual who had assaulted him earlier in the night.

A Tyrone-area woman was charged with aggravated assault this weekend after she allegedly hit two plain-clothes police officers who were trying to break up a fight early Saturday morning.

State College Medical Services, 900 W. College Ave., currently faces scrutiny from two local groups for employing a doctor who is not properly licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania.

The Interfraternity Council/ Panhellenic Dance Marathon overall committee announced Friday that they will be donating $10 million over the next six years to the creation of a Pediatric Cancer Pavilion at the Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey.

The rain showering down onto Ohio's Pruitt Field yesterday served as a fitting portrayal of not only the No. 19 Penn State (5-10, 2-3 ALC) women's lacrosse team's season, but also of the game.

With the weight of the entire offense on their shoulders, the Penn State pitchers were bound to collapse under the pressures of pitching in one-run games with no margin of error.

Late in yesterday's women's tennis match, Penn State junior Maaria Husain repeatedly yelled "come on!" to herself as her lead slipped away in singles play.
