Police find suspect in downtown bar assault

A man broke the nose of a staff member at about 11 p.m. Wednesday at Crowbar, 420 E. College Ave., and hit another staff member in the face, the State College Police Department said yesterday.

Police said Crowbar employee Anthony Zolota, 22, approached the suspect inside the bar because he was bumping into other patrons. The suspect then hit Zolota in the face, breaking his nose, police said.

University games logo to be revealed at show

The university's Sesquicentennial Games logo will be unveiled at noon tomorrow, during Movin' On at the HUB lawn, according to a press release from the Penn State Sesquicentennial Games Board of Directors.

The games will be celebrated at University Park from Oct. 1 to Oct. 3, 2004. According to the press release, the activities during the Sesquicentennial (150 years) Games include "lighting of the ceremonial torch, competitive games among all ... campuses, spaghetti dinners benefiting The Second Mile, speakers and a themed dance."

The Sesquicentennial Game Board of Directors chose Kyle Kostesich's winning design from a group of 20 created by students from an ART 371 (Applied Communication) course.
