Summits to focus on aspects of greek life

The greek community will turn plans into actions at the second "Greek Pride: A Return to Glory Summit" today and tomorrow.

More than 100 alumni, members of the greek community, university officials and members of the State College community came together for the first of two greek summits April 2 and 3. Through the Appreciative Inquiry process, a four-part organizational technique, the greek community hopes to focus on the positive aspects of greek life.

The first summit included the first two parts of the Appreciative Inquiry process, discovery and dream. The second summit will cover the last two parts, design and destiny.

The summit will take place today from 4 to 10 p.m. at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel and Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center's South Gym.

To contribute to this process, register to attend the second summit by visiting www.sa.psu.edu/greekpride/register.
