I have a question for Steve Boneck ("Question: What's in it for libertarian-conservatives? Answer: Not much," April 14) and any other "reason" versus "religion" students (including those who "worship" Ayn Rand). You all don't believe in God, so the Bible, Quaran, Torah or even the Ten Commandments were written by whom? Man. Humans, who are capable of reason and logic. You will then say, "But they wrote this because God told them to do it." And while certainly, these authors might claim it, don't forget: You don't believe in God, so how can God tell anyone to write anything? The fundamental problem in the ideology of "reason" vs. "religion" is that many don't believe religions were created using reason and logic.
Since it is your belief that God does not exist, man -- using logic and reason -- created these religions. And don't give that excuse that you "don't know their psychology or other crap." Just because they died long ago doesn't mean they did not use logic and reason.
Ayn Rand is dead, so I guess I can't fully understand her "logic" and "reason" either.
