Representatives from the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC), Penn State staff and members from the local community met yesterday in the Old Main Alumni Lounge to encourage the public to donate their tax refunds to a lifesaving cause.

Patrons of The Waffle Shop restaurants on East and West College avenues may soon be waiting in longer lines to enjoy their favorite breakfast specialties.

The future of clean energy is coming to Penn State this weekend as more than 150 exhibitors take part in the Clean Energy Expo.

Many of the nearly 60 students in attendance at a lecture sponsored by Penn State's Students for Life grew emotional last night as they heard a woman's experience of dealing with life after having an abortion.

Current Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Vice President Takkeem Morgan is at the center of controversy after comments made during Wednesday night's USG election celebration.

Ex-terrorism adviser Richard Clarke's new book Against All Enemies has now gone into its fifth printing, and some Penn State students say that the book will not have an effect on the upcoming presidential election, while some political science professors disagree.

Penn State students got a small taste of being out in the real world last night as Danny Roberts from MTV's The Real World: New Orleans cast came to speak to an adoring audience for Pride Week. Roberts, who is openly gay, spoke to a crowd of more than 350 people in the HUB-Robeson Center's Heritage Hall.

"Secret" is a tricky word. According to Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary, it has nine different meanings as an adjective, but usually those differences are cleared up once a noun is placed next to it.

Droves of people head down to Washington, D.C., in the springtime to gaze at the cherry blossoms. Add the Penn State men's rugby team to that list of spectators.

The saying goes, practice makes perfect.

This Sunday will indeed be a day of rest for the stars of the Penn State women's track and field team.

The sun, the warmth and the dry fields are all gone, as the Penn State softball team returns to Happy Valley for its home opener.

One team was ranked No. 10 in the 2004 preseason Insider Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll, the other No. 17.

For the first time since beginning Big Ten play, the No. 51 Penn State men's tennis team (11-4, 2-1) will be without the label of the underdog.

No long drives, cramped hotel rooms, and even-more-cramped vehicles this weekend.

After getting swept last weekend in North Carolina, the No. 18 Penn State (2-7) women's lacrosse team will get another chance to beat a top team and erase those southern blues.

It's here ... the big one ... the season's final meet.

The stage couldn't be set any more perfectly for the Penn State women's gymnastics team.

This weekend, it is strength versus weakness for the No. 9 Penn State men's volleyball team, as it puts its 7-1 home record up against two teams that are winless on the road.

Will the rigorous non-conference schedule that the Penn State baseball team went through prior to this weekend pay off?
