Conceptual plans are being created for a town center in Ferguson Township that would combine residential and commercial areas to create a downtown all its own.

Plagiarizing, fabricating and quote doctoring are all big mistakes in the world of journalism. However, in the past year, big-name reporters at big-name papers have put the credibility of the news media on the line by making those mistakes.

A former Penn State wrestler convicted of an August 1999 sexual assault was resentenced yesterday to serve two to four years in Centre County Prison and ordered to register as a convicted sexual offender.

Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly gathered last night to elect new officials for the 2004-05 academic year.

The worst message America can give black and Hispanic students is not expecting them to measure up to the rest of America, Linda Chavez said. "Affirmative action is feeding them this devastating and racist message."

Candidates vying for the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) executive ticket discussed how to make the USG Senate more efficient at last night's final debate before tomorrow's election.

Two years ago Penn State Ice Lions coach Mo Stroemel called goalie Brian Gratz into his hotel room.

This weekend left a bittersweet taste in the Penn State men's rugby team as it was competing for a Sweet 16 spot. The Ruggers began the weekend by going up against West Chester and came out with a hard earned 32-15 win.

Few people have an idea what walking, living and working on Mars may be like, but over spring break, four Penn State students experienced exactly that.

Although dieters are often baffled when the word low does not precede the word fat, this century's diet studies have highlighted fat's good side.

Every woman experiences this dreaded situation at one time in her life: entering a public restroom and finding the toilet seat spotted yellow. Many opt to wipe off the toilet seat, to cover it with bits of toilet paper or to hover over it for fear of infection, but there may be another option.

Picture yourself, 10 years from now, standing where you are now, and imagine what it would be like if all of the energy, trash and waste that you used up and collected over the years were all around you. Cups that you threw on the ground, all of those bottles and newspapers you never got around to recycling and hundreds of gas bills for the extra heat in your dorm room surround you. Wish you could go back and do something about it?

Attention State College -- if you consume three or more alcoholic drinks a day, ask your doctor whether you should take pain or fever reducers.
