Assembly elects new officials for next year

Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly gathered last night to elect new officials for the 2004-05 academic year.

Current assembly president D. Joshua Troxell (senior-chemical engineering) was elected for his third consecutive term as Academic Assembly president.

In his upcoming term, Troxell said the three primary concerns he will face are "the continuation of the first-year seminar report, the changes for the student identification system and the availability of the Graduate Record Examination at Penn State."

"My goal has always been to make sure we are heading in the right direction," he said.

Mark Levin (junior-meteorology) and Brad Hoagland (sophomore-information sciences and technology) were also re-elected for their second terms as vice president of operations and vice president of programming.
