Organizers of the annual Tussey Mountainback 50 Mile Relay and Ultramarathon have announced two spring running events to be held in Rothrock State Forest.

On April 10, runners will take part in a "Tussey to Whipple" 11-mile run. On May 2, runners will have a chance to run the fourth leg of the Mountainback course backward in the Beidleheimer Sidewinder 10K. Runners will meet at Whipple Dam State Park and be transported by chartered bus to the start area. The event finish is at the Whipple Dam State Park Transportation to the start is at 1:30 p.m., with race start at 2:00 p.m. Advance registration and race day registration are available.
