Column doesn't show pride for Penn State
I feel Torie Bosch insulted the remarkable efforts by our administration in her omission of their accomplishments and her generalization of their collective "low self-esteem" in her column, " 'Safety school' stigma pervading Penn State dampens school's merits" (March 22). Ever hear of the recently completed "Grand Destiny Campaign?" That's just one example of how hard these people work and Bosch's column shows no reverence for them. "The problem is that we don't value ourselves enough, nor does the administration." Nor does the administration? I suggest you walk into Old Main and just look around. Our administration shows value of our efforts through more than just printed words -- they live off their value. How do you show your value of their efforts? Proud to be here, you say? Your reverence in your column for our administration's incredible and remarkably coordinated efforts shows your pride quite well. John McCarthy
