Testosterone leads to elbows, hurt feelings
I think the source of most of this world's problems is an overabundance of testosterone. I don't want to start name-calling, but it seems jocks are majority shareholders in testosterone. I was playing basketball, and this one guy was playing pretty rough; he even elbowed me in the nose without as much as a "sorry." I was a little fed up, so as he was waiting for a rebound, I came up behind him and placed my elbow in his back between his shoulders. This allowed me easy access to the rebound. After the ball settled, he turned to me and said, in his most deep, macho voice, "You elbow me again and I'll kill you." Well obviously, I'm not suicidal, so I tried to keep my elbows a couple yards away from him the rest of the game. I'm OK now, but I just couldn't help but think his threat was a little excessive. Should I go to the police? Should I notify mental health professionals about him? I just don't know anymore. Paul Webster
