A Penn State student reported to the State College Police Department yesterday that two men assaulted him on Monday on the 400 block of South Burrowes Street, according to a police report.
Eric Hawkins told police the two men approached him and demanded money. When he told them he didn't have any, they proceeded to hit him on his chest, arm and face.
Hawkins told police that both men were wearing black shirts, and each individual had a covering over his face. He later went to Ritenour Building and was treated and released.
The incident is under investigation.
