Well, as the ticket prices go up for Penn State athletic events, I find that the university is right ("Season football ticket prices increase for '04," March 15). Why? Because someone has to fund the athletes that get into trouble by fighting, being charged with disorderly conduct and getting accused of rape.

Everyone knows Penn State has no plans on beating any of the good teams this year, so the university leaves it up to the alumni and students to pay for it.
