Police Log

Sexual Assault: The State College Police Department was called to Mount Nittany Medical Center Wednesday after a female patient told hospital staff members she was sexually assaulted. The woman told police she did not want to press charges.

Theft: A student reported to Penn State University Police that his book bag and its contents were stolen from an unsecured locker in the men's locker room of Rec Hall at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The value of the bag and its contents is estimated at $225. A debit card taken from the book bag was later used to purchase $100 worth of lottery tickets. Police said they have identified a suspect.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
