God doesn't need help in marriage judgement
This is in response to William Reed's letter ("Lincoln would concur with president's stance," March 3). I have never read something so ignorant in my life. I am Catholic and I firmly believe in God and his teachings. However, I would never make statements about his word that were convoluted and uneducated. You stated that marriage is made by God and we must abide by his rules. Did it ever occur to you that God has a higher plan for all of us? Gays and lesbians did not just sprout up from the ground as if sent by the "devil." God created them, just as he created all of us "in his likeness." If you want to go around telling people where to look for things on marriage, go look in the Bible and find out that God knows what he is doing and he doesn't need your help to do it.
