Readers react to Bush’s proposed amendment banning gay marriage

President Bush's act to ban gay marriages in the Constitution is downright discrimination. I am a Christian, and I personally do not like the act of homosexuality. But at the same time, who am I -- or we -- to criticize another's actions? We are all sinners. We all act in sinful ways. There's only one true judge and that is God. By activating this change in the Constitution, America is judging the actions of another human being. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal" obviously is not acted upon here.
