The Penn State women's golf team had its tournament-best round of golf with a team score of 321 yesterday to finish 15th at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic, held at the par-72, 6,016-yard Dorado Del Mar Country Club in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Duke won the event with a final-day 284 to finish with a three-day total of 862. Georgia jumped one spot to finish in second place, 23 shots behind the Blue Devils.
The Nittany Lions' high finisher was Amber Weinerth, who garnered 51st place after a final-round 78. Freshman Evelyn Paik finished 59th, while Katrin Wolfe, bolstered by her tournament-best round of 80 yesterday, finished 63rd.
