Police Log

Sexual assault: A State College woman reported Monday that she was sexually assaulted in June by a man she was involved with, the State College Police Department said. She is not a Penn State student. Police are investigating the incident.

Assault: A female student reported at 2:16 p.m. Monday that a man she knew assaulted her in McElwain Hall. Penn State University Police Supervisor Dwight Smith said there was a "sexual component" to the incident, but would not release further details about the case. Police are investigating the incident.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
