On behalf of the faculty of Penn State, I want to express our appreciation to the many students who so selflessly conduct the Interfraternity Council/ Panhellenic Dance Marathon for the benefit of The Four Diamonds Fund to find cures for childhood cancers. Attending this event is the great uplifting experience of the academic year, and it is gratifying to see the enthusiastic support for your dedicated activities. During the pep rally Saturday evening, one of the members of the football team noted that, "What you are doing is so much bigger than sport." He was right. Thon is simply the best of Penn State.
