Different campus start doesn't hurt PSU unity
I have not always agreed with things Kris Ankarlo has said over the years. That being said, I must say he does my transfer trash heart proud after reading his column ("Commonwealth campuses provide motivation, power at Penn State," Feb. 19). Whether it be from finances, family situations or whatever, the fact that you can still work for a Penn State education and take care of other needs should be a source of pride for the university -- not a source of ridicule against those who do not have daddy's wallet to take care of things. I hope people feel that saying you're from Abington or DuBois or New Kensington is a great source of pride. You are not alone. You are not some second rate students. You are Penn State. Andrew Pope
