Assault: A man was assaulted at about 1 a.m. Sunday on the 400 block of East Calder Way.

The victim said two unidentified males approached him while he was walking, the State College Police Department said.

He received minor cuts and stitches under his left eye after the assault, police said.

Assault: An unidentified black man assaulted another man at 1:43 a.m. yesterday at 222 W. Beaver Ave., the State College Police Department said.

The victim received a fractured jaw and injury to his ear, police said. No further description of the suspect was available.
