Accidental Fire: A fire was reported at 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Simmons Hall, Penn State University Police said. The fire was caused by an unattended candle and resulted in minor damage to the room, police said.
Burglary: Stereo equipment was reported stolen from a 1998 Jeep Wrangler at 4 p.m. Friday while it was parked on the 2100 block of Mountainview Avenue, the State College Police Department said. The equipment is valued at about $2,000.
Harassment: The State College Police Department said Tony Gilman was charged with one count of harassment for allegedly punching another individual at about 1:30 a.m. yesterday on the 100 block of Garner Street.
Harassment: An individual reported at about 2 a.m. yesterday that four phone calls accusing employees from All American Rathskeller, 108 S. Pugh St., of being "hit men" were made to the establishment, the State College Police Department said.
Theft: Furniture was reported stolen at about 2 p.m. Thursday from the Information Sciences and Technology Building, Penn State University Police said. The theft occurred at an unknown time and value of the items is estimated at about $6,200, police said.
