I just read "IFC houses designated 'rape-free' zones," and I would like to say how much more relieved I am now that I can tell by a sticker whether or not it is safe for me to enter an IFC house.
How sad is it that buildings now need to be designated "rape-free?" Has our society become as corrupt as to have to determine what is and is not a "rape zone?"
Don't get me wrong, I believe that the IFC's implemented educational program on sexual assault is a step in the right direction. But the very thought of people not understanding the basic differences between "right" and "wrong" is a little more than disheartening.
