Undergraduate Student Government Academic Assembly President D. Joshua Troxell said Monday that legislation to modify the International and Intercultural Competence (GI) credit is "rapidly progressing," and a report should be presented at the March 16 University Faculty Senate meeting.

As one of her common adages Penn State women's basketball coach Rene Portland often says that, on the road, "a win is a win" -- no matter what the opponent or score is. Now, she's treating a loss the same way.

His name has often appeared in the thin insert handed out at Penn State ACHA Div. I Icers home games each weekend, down at the bottom next to such questions as "Who would you want to be past or present for a day?", 'If you could have a superhero power, what would it be?", or 'Who do you attribute your success to as a hockey player?"

Penn State men's basketball coach Ed DeChellis gave his team last Thursday and Friday off, after the loss to Purdue. The Nittany Lions (9-10, 3-5) were able to hang with the Boilermakers during most of the game, but in the last 10 minutes fatigue set in.
