Difference of opinions gives look into minds

I just read Torie Bosch's column ("Morality doesn't lie within sermons or prayers, but in life practices," Feb. 9). As a Christian, I am quite happy to hear others' opinions on religion and even enjoy discussing it. There are a few things that I would like to point out about my faith. It is true that there are some religious people who live very immoral lives, like Hitler or Rabbi Neulander. I am a sinner, but because I believe that Christ died to forgive me of my sins, I don't need to worry about my downfalls. Also, morals and religion are two completely different characteristics of people, but many religions shape the morals and values of the person. I also believe it is wrong to have sex outside of love, like Bosch, but my beliefs take it a step further and call me to wait until the bonds of marriage are set before I have sex.

Once again, I am happy that this column was written. I think that it is important to hear the opinions and beliefs of others to get a real glimpse into their minds.
