Letter to the Editor
JoePa shows he's still got it with recruiting

Let me be one of the first to say it: To all of the people in the community that have been crying for the past few years that it was time for coach Joe Paterno to go, and that he could no longer get the recruits to come play for Penn State, take a look at Anthony Morelli.

He chose Penn State over Pittsburgh. He was unsure that coach Walt Harris would stay at Pitt his entire time and was assured by Paterno that he would stay for his entire playing career. This, from what I have read, is one of the main reasons that Morelli chose to attend Penn State. So we got one of the top quarterbacks in the nation because of Paterno.

Let's now give credit where credit is due. Penn State will return to excellence with a recruiting class like this, and JoePa will play a key role in that. Give the man what he is due, and let him coach this year without calling for his head when things don't go our way.

We will be back. We are Penn State
