Murphy's Law to provide punk with Giving Chase at Crowbar

Energetic, party-oriented, hardcore punk comes to State College at 8 tonight as Murphy's Law and Giving Chase rock into Crowbar, 420 E. College Ave.

As a mainstay on the New York punk scene since the mid 1980s, Murphy's Law has proved the staying power of a party band that loves to rock out on a nightly basis. According to the band's Web site Murphy's Law has developed "into increasingly meaningful songs, without losing their trademark sense of humor and party attitude."

In recent years, the band has toured as far as Japan, Australia and Europe to promote albums and will bring that energy and experience to the show tonight.

Based in State College since its inception in 1998, Giving Chase comes to Crowbar after the release of its newest album, Nothing Ever Changes, in July of 2003.

Tickets to the all-ages show are $10 and doors open at 8 p.m.
