Partly sunny, with increasing clouds late
Today's University Park forecast
Today is the calm before the storm. While conditions will be pleasant early, clouds will move into the area late in the day. A complex system will yield snow, possibly mixing with sleet, after midnight tonight. There will be a period of heavy snow around daybreak into the early afternoon, tapering off late afternoon. Total accumulations above six inches are likely. Another brief period of sunny weather will again be interrupted by a long duration snow event late this week.
