While attending the Tracy Morgan show on Saturday night, I realized why Penn State gets far too few famous bands and comedians. Da Vinci's Notebook, a humorous acappella group who was the opening act of the night, received a rude and disrespectful response from the crowd.
Giving the group only a few minutes of their attention, the crowd relentlessly attacked the band. It is understandable that the crowd was anticipating Morgan, but there was no need for the boos and drunken screaming.
Performers do not want to come to a town known for having "tough crowds." Next time you decide to go to a concert or show in State College, please remember that the way you act may decide if your favorite band will pass through Penn State.
