Police Log

Burglary: A student reported at about 7:30 p.m. Friday that a computer, books and other items were stolen from her room in Thompson Hall, Penn State University Police said. The items are valued at about $2,000.

Burglary: A remote-controlled helicopter was reported stolen at about 11 a.m. Friday from a locked storage space at 219 E. Prospect Ave., the State College Police Department said. The item is valued at about $2,000.

Theft: About $3,500 in cash was reported stolen at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday from the wallets and coats of two employees of Europe Nails in the Nittany Mall, 2901 E. College Ave., the State College Police Department said.

Vandalism: A video game machine was reported damaged at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday in Findlay Commons, Penn State University Police said. The incident occurred overnight, and the value of the damage was unknown, police said.

Animal Control: Seven live chickens were found by a Penn State University Police staff member at about 8:30 a.m. Friday in front of Beta Theta Phi fraternity, 220 N. Burrowes St. The animals were captured and taken to the Penn State Animal Diagnostic Lab.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
