A man was arrested Saturday for allegedly threatening another man with a knife at The Last Cowboy, 1521 Martin St.

Markus D. Knight, 23, of Eagle Butte, S.D., was arraigned before District Justice Bradley Lunsford on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.

Knight was placed in Centre County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.

According to court documents, the incident occurred after the victim reported to police at about 2 a.m. that Knight had given alcohol to a minor identified as Knight's cousin. No arrest occurred at that time.

Police were again dispatched to the scene at about 2:30 a.m. after the victim reported that Knight had pulled out a knife and threatened to stab him. Another man then pulled Knight back from the victim, and Knight fled the scene by vehicle, according to the documents.
