A woman allegedly driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol hit a parked car, which then hit another parked car, at about 1 a.m. yesterday, police said.
Angela Amann, 23, was driving a black 2000 Hyundai sedan west on College Avenue, according to a State College Police Department accident report.
Amann attempted to brake on the snow-covered area between South Allen and Fraser streets but lost control of the car and slid into a car parked on College Avenue.
The car, a silver 2000 Toyota Camry owned by Dong Kim, then slid into a third vehicle that was parked in front of it.
The third car was a Nissan truck owned by April Lamanno.
Both Amann and Kim's cars sustained severe damage and had to be towed from the scene, according to the accident report.
Lamanno's car sustained only minor damage.
Amann was arrested on a DUI charge, according to the report. She had a blood alcohol level of 0.19 percent, above Pennsylvania's legal limit of 0.08.
Charges will be filed in the incident, police said.
