A State College resident was bound over for trial yesterday on charges of statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.

Stephen Kinsey, 18, of State College was ordered to stand trial after a hearing in front of District Justice Carmine Prestia at Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.

According to court documents, Kinsey allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl with whom he was acquainted. Kinsey remains in Centre County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 23.
