A red Mazda Protege with license plate number DAW-8421 was stolen at about 11 a.m. yesterday from 618 S. Pugh St., the State College Police Department said.

Police said the owner started the car to warm it up and left it running while she went back inside her house. When she went outside, the car was gone.

There are no suspects in the case, police said.
