vs. New York University
and William Patterson
7 tonight at New York University
9:15 p.m. tomorrow at William Patterson
Penn State will be looking for redemption this weekend. Luckily for the Ice Lions the schedule makers pulled through, and the Ice Lions have a huge game after a recent loss. The Ice Lions(19-5) will battle No. 1 New York University(13-1) today and unranked William Patterson(6-13) tomorrow.
Last Saturday against No. 2 Stony Brook, the Ice Lions' defense fell apart and they lost 7-4.
NYU's only loss this season was to the very same Ice Lions that seemed to have trouble with two ranked opponents a week ago. The Violets haven't played a game since Nov. 16th, something the Ice Lions could take advantage of.
"With any luck they'll be a little rusty, but I don't expect that to last long," Ice Lions coach Mo Stroemel said.
William Patterson also faced Penn State earlier this season, a game the Ice Lions won 8-1. Chris Stoehra, a top scorer for the Lions, will return.
