Eagles' lackluster play grants student clarity
In the wake of the Eagles' defeat, I have had an epiphany. The Eagles were supposed to win -- they were at home and the Panthers were living a dream. Watching the game, I saw a sorry Eagles team play, a sorry team that was supposed to win. Yet, they had nobody on the team that made a play or made things happens. As a college junior, I have learned the ultimate lesson: It's time to make things happen. I can't sit back and let life dictate what is going to happen. I need to dictate life. Be a coach, be a teacher, be whatever you want -- just make it happen. Don't be like the Eagles Sunday night and get pushed around without a fight. Don't be like the Eagles and beg for penalties. Personally, for me, it's time to get after it and get it done. This letter may serve a purpose or it could be a complete joke. Either way, I have been inspired by watching an uninspired team lose.
