[ Thursday, January 15, 2004 ] Today's University Park forecast
The snowstorm that had produced a decent amount of snow
overnight will be replaced by frigid air originating from
the Arctic region. Clouds will gradually decrease
throughout today, but northerly winds will produce
lake-effect snow flurries, mostly in the northwestern
region of Pennsylvania. Temperatures will generally
remain in the teens for the next couple days. A gradual
warm-up is expected during the weekend as the arctic air
mass retreats northward temporarily.-- Prepared by the Campus Weather Service The CWS Forecast
