When is the Collegian editorial staff going to live up to the same journalism standards they hold everyone else to ("Break shouldn't cause students to forget past problems at PSU," Jan. 12)? Good research and proper reporting.

Collegian editorials have misled readers into believing that the Penn State College Republicans had a KKK costume at their party.

The Web site is certainly guilty of poor taste in its KKK reference in the picture's caption, but the Collegian is in poor taste by making everyone believe the costume was in fact a KKK outfit.

Shame on the Collegian editors for pushing an agenda over achieving quality and correct journalism.
