Homecourt advantage missing inside of BJC

The upper deck end zones of the Bryce Jordan Center (BJC) have been curtained off to make the building seem not quite so empty for basketball games.

When the Minnesota Gophers men's basketball team tipped off against Penn State Wednesday night, there were certainly fewer than 3,000 fans in attendance.

In the realm of Big Ten basketball, there is no easier place to win a road game than the BJC.

If the Lions want to be something better than a conference bottom feeder, they need to take advantage of such a benign environment.
