Men steal waitress' apron containing tips

Two men robbed an employee of Chili's Bar and Grill, 139 S. Allen St., at 11:37 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of South Fraser Street, the State College Police Department said. Police said the suspects approached the woman and threw her against a fence. They took her apron, which held the waitress' tip money she accrued during her shift. The suspects made off with about $100.

Police describe the suspects as two white men. One man was described as more than 6 feet tall with a very thin build and dark hair, and was wearing a navy blue down jacket, a navy blue knit hat and heavy ski gloves. The other man was described as short with a medium build and dark hair, and was wearing a dark jacket, jeans and heavy ski gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State College police at 234-7150.
