The chairman of the Board of Governors of the Dickinson School of Law announced the creation of four committees to study location and funding options for the school.
Committees will be formed to study expansion at the current site in Carlisle, alternative locations near Carlisle, and at University Park. The fourth committee will look into funding and strategic planning.
The chair, Leroy Zimmerman, said a timetable for completion of the committees' work has not been created.
"We are asking the committees to work expeditiously, but we also want to make sure that they take enough time to gather all the facts we will need for the board to make an informed decision," he said.
Last month, a confidential memo from school Dean Phil McConnaughay in which he recommended moving the school to University Park was leaked to the Carlisle Sentinel.
