A marble machine symbolizing the number of people who die daily from AIDS will be part of today's World AIDS Day events.

LOCK HAVEN -- The Penn State wrestling team had just finished second in the 11-team field at the Mat Town USA tournament on Saturday and Penn State coach Troy Sunderland was less than pleased.

November had been physically and mentally draining for the Penn State women's swimming and diving team, but they finished the month with style.

After losing the first four meets of the season, the Penn State men's swimming and diving team is picking up pace at just the right time.

There are plenty of reasons why the Penn State women's volleyball team should not have won the Big Ten championship.

Penn State linebackers' coach Ron Vanderlinden declined an offer from Eastern Michigan to be the head coach of its football team last week, despite rumors he would in fact take the position and leave the Penn State football program.

The demons ... exorcised.

It has been long in coming -- 10 weeks to be exact.

After being shocked by Old Dominion Tuesday night in a 75-68 loss, the Lady Lions traveled to Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas to overcome George Washington 77-51 Friday and No. 9 Kansas State 69-56 Saturday in the Junkanoo Jam tournament.

How many shots can a team take in the final 11 seconds of a hockey game?

Maybe it's unfair to have to play one of the nation's top teams before even reaching the semifinals. Or to have to travel 3,000 miles to do it. But right now there's only one thing that can be said for the Penn State women's soccer team.

The Royal Christmas 2003 North American tour was canceled, due to escalating financial concerns. The tour included a stop at the Bryce Jordan Center, which was to be held on Dec. 13. The Jordan Center and Ticketmaster will automatically refund any tickets purchased by credit card. Customers who paid cash or check must return the tickets to the Jordan Center either by mail or by visiting the Jordan Center Ticket Center.
