Police are investigating three separate accounts of sexual assault reported during the weekend. The State College Police Department is investigating two separate sex crimes.
State College police are investigating a rape reported at 8:03 p.m. Sunday. Police would not comment on any details of the rape.
State College police are also investigating an acquaintance sexual assault reported at 5:35 p.m. Sunday. Police would not comment on the incident, which is under investigation.
Penn State University Police is investigating a sexual assault reported at 6:20 p.m. Sunday. The assault occurred between 11 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday in Nittany Apartments, police said. University police would not release any additional information on the sex crime and would not say whether it was an acquaintance or stranger assault.
